Created while working with Buddha Jones, this trailer was produced for the Xbox Games Showcase 2023. My role focused on designing the environmental transitions and typography that drive the emotional core of the piece, revealing that every thriving city exists because of the player behind it.

THE BRIEF
The creative challenge was to visualize an invisible idea: without the player, there is no city.
Buildings dissolve, neighborhoods vanish, and entire districts collapse back into an empty map before rebuilding again. Every transition had to feel deliberate, supporting the story rather than calling attention to the animation itself.
MY ROLE
I worked closely with the editorial and creative teams to develop many of the trailer's signature transitions, creating animations that shifted between fully realized cities and their underlying map data. I also animated typography throughout the piece, helping establish the pacing and emotional rhythm of the edit.
